1983年建校,年仅34岁的天津市红星职业中等专业学校,是国家教育部认定的首批重点职业学校,凭借“以服务为宗旨,以就业为导向”的职业教育方针、务实的教学精神,为社会输出了一批批优秀的技术型人才。

Founded 34 years ago in 1983, Tianjin Red Star Vocational Secondary School is one of the first key vocational schools certified by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. Following the vocational education guideline of “To aim at service and employment” and pragmatic teaching attitude, it has trained a great number of excellent technical talents for society.

谈起红星职专的教育信息化建设,其信息中心穆主任表示:“中职院校的课堂偏向于动手和实训,学生动手能力和技能的高低,决定着教学成效的好坏。所以我们在信息化教学投入方面,重在看其能否促学生参与度、教学的互动性以及学生动手能力的提升。”

Speaking of the IT construction in education at Red Star, Director Mu of the school’s Information center said, “The classrooms of vocational secondary schools are partial to hands-on ability and practical training. Students’ hands-on ability and skills are decisive to the teaching result. 个子清瘦的会计徐老师看上去很年轻,曾多次在市级、国家级信息化教学技能比赛中获得奖项,对信息化教学有着深入独到的研究。会计学科内容繁杂,课上不仅要在把重难知识点讲透,还需引导学生当堂学会动手实践操作。

Though looking young, the slim accountancy teacher Xu is a prize winner of many municipal and national teaching skill competitions of IT in education, with insightful and unique studies of this field. While teaching the complicated discipline of accountancy, it is necessary to clarify every detail of the key and difficult knowledge and guide students to exercise and operate during the class.

以往棘手的双重阻碍,在徐老师的课堂里变得轻而易举:“比如传票、凭证都需要同学们动手填制,但填制后各自的成果如何展示?我要怎样从班里几十位同学中发现典型问题并做讲解?这在以前是很令人棘手的问题。现在学生手动填制后,用手上的平板一个个拍照上传。我多份作品同时对照着看,很轻易就能看出全班的动手实操情况,并有针对性地开展下一步讲解。现在会计课的实操,学生基本都能当堂掌握。”

Those thorny problems are now easy in Xu’s classes. According to Xu, “For example, students are required to fill in court summons and certificates. However, how to show their works? How can I find the problems common to scores of students in the class and make explanations? These were very challenging. Now, after completing the filling, each student can record and upload via his panel. Checking and comparing many works at a time, I can easily monitor all the students’ actual operation and move on to the next step with a clear target. Now, students can basically get a grip of the actual operation in class.”

倘若发现有学生对某一知识点掌握得非常好,徐老师便邀请他上传作品并为全班同学做讲解。这样不仅能即时掌握学生对知识点的掌握情况,也能在一定程度上激发学生的好胜心理,从而提升全班的学习主动性。

When finding a student who has grasped particular knowledge, Xu would ask him to upload his work and give a presentation to the whole class. This can enhance the learning initiative in class by facilitating the monitoring on students’ mastery of knowledge and stimulate their desire to excel.

相比传票填制实训,医药实验操作似乎更复杂。如何将生涩、难懂的医药学原理通过实验通熟易懂地呈现出来,甚至让学生亲自完成动手实验?对老师的教学颇具挑战性。而医药专业科扈老师,乘着信息化教学的双翼,对实验教学早已驾轻就熟:

“实验操作课,主要难在对学生实验过程的实时指导。但信息技术的引入给实验课带来了很大改变。比如在给家兔两眼滴入不同药物之后,瞳孔会有放大缩小的现象,这个在以往只能靠老师挨组去看。现在学生可以一边做实验,一边用平板将过程录下来传到大屏上方便老师检查。当老师做实验演示时,也可以将摄像头架在旁边,在大屏上进行直播,并且可以随时暂停进行批注讲解。实验被直观拆解后,学生接受起来会变得很容易。”

Compared with the practical training of court summon filling, the pharmaceutical experiment operation seems to be more complex. How to teach the arcane pharmaceutical principles in an understandable way through experiment and even let students complete the experiment by themselves? This is a challenge for teaching. The pharmaceutics teacher Hu is already an expert in experiment teaching with the assistance of IT in education.

“The main challenge of experiment operation is the real-time guidance during student’s experiment. However, the introduction of information technology has significantly changed the experiment class. For example, after different drugs were dropped into rabbits’ eyes, the teacher had to check the pupil dilation and contraction of students’ rabbits one by one. Now, students can record the process of their experiment and upload the video to the big screen for the teachers to see. The teacher can also demonstrate the experiment live on the big screen by setting a camera and pause at any time for commenting and explaining. After visually explained, the experiment can be easy for students to assimilate.”

数据统计,让分层教学简单易行

在职业学校,一般没有尖子班、普通班之分。基础各异的学生集聚在一起,给分层教学带来了一定的阻碍,对各科任老师的要求自然也更高。谈起信息化教学给课堂带来的改变,生物丁老师最大的感触便在于此:

“那么多学生坐在同一个教室里,不可能都处于同一水平线上。在学生对某一知识点的掌握情况上,如果只是单纯依赖学生主动举手发言,老师检查的实际上只有一部分同学,现在是所有学生都能兼顾到。你看,在以往学生写完作业后,老师得批改完再做试卷分析。而现在则可以直接把卷子发到学生的平板上,学生答完后传上来,所有的成绩分析立刻就出来了,全班的答题情况一目了然。这不仅节省了老师大量的时间,也让教学更具有针对性。老师可以把更多的时间放在分层教学上,为不同能力的学生制定不同难度的习题。”

There are no elite or average classes at the vocational school. Students’ differences in basic knowledge are a holdback to hierarchical teaching and have posed higher requirements on teachers of all disciplines. When it comes to the changes brought by the IT in education to the classroom, biology teacher Ding talked about things that are most impressive, “It is impossible that all the students in the classroom are at the same level. In terms of their mastery of particular knowledge, a teacher could only check on some of them by solely relying on their handing raising and question answering. Now, the teacher can check on every student. After the students finished their homework, the teacher had to correct and analyze the test papers. Nowadays, the teacher can send the papers to students’ panels. The moment test papers finished by students are uploaded, the score analysis comes out, and the every student’s performance is clear. This has saved a lot of time for the teacher and made teaching more targeted so that the teacher can spend more time on hierarchical teaching and developing exercises varying in grades of difficulty for students with different capabilities.”

徐老师也同样表示:“以前上课只顾讲,学生到底掌握了多少,只能通过最后的考试来验收。而现在借助希沃的统计功能就可以随时掌握学生学习情况,从而把更多的精力放在学习成效的落实上来,让学习成效得到更好的体现。否则等孩子们期末了,才发现有些知识点没掌握,那就为时已晚。”

Xu added, “I only lectured during the class. I could only know how much student learned from the examination. Now, I can monitor it in real time with seewo’s statistical function to input more energy into the implementation of learning effect and make a better presentation of it. Otherwise, I may not know their drawback in knowledge until the final examination, which would be too late.”

红星职专属于天津市较早一批引入信息化教学设备的学校,其信息化教学在天津市职专学校起着示范性作用。在希沃智慧教育整体解决方案的引入之初,学校便专门成立了信息化教学研究小组,每周组织科研交流,老师们互相听课、录课。徐老师回忆道:

“在这一段时间,我们彼此之间的进步是最大的,收获很多。这也成就了我们在市级甚至全国性的比赛中的荣誉,内部的培训交流以点带面,整个学校的面貌突然就有了全新的改变,更活了。新的教学模式在促进老师进步的同时,也为学生带来了更高质量的课堂。”

Red Star Vocational Secondary School is one of the earliest to apply equipment of IT in education. It is a model in IT-based education among all the vocational schools in Tianjin. When it had just brought in seewo’s integrated solution of intelligent education, it set up a team to research the IT in education and organized weekly research exchange in which teachers listened to each other’s class and recorded it. Xu recollected, “These days, we have the biggest progress and achievement. This has contributed to our victory in the municipal and even national competitions. The new teaching pattern has delivered better classes to students while motivating teachers to progress.”
